Rachel Ilk
Rachel is a 2005 Pomona graduate andis very happy to be back at PHS. Rachel has been dancing since the age of three and competing since the age of eight. She has won two national titles as a musical theatre soloist. She started teaching and choreographing at Rocky Mountain School of Dance and Performing Arts at the age of fifteen and has been doing so ever since. She took her first national choregraphy award at sixteen and has been recognized for her choreography several times since then, including national championship in musical theatre in 2008, and a second place national finish in jazz in 2009. Rachel is currently involved with a local dance company called "Next Season Dancers," where she is dancer and choreographer. She is also working toward gaining her Masters from the University of Colorado at Denver in Public School Counseling. This is Rachel's first production with Pomona and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a talented cast and staff.
