Director's Notes for
Noises Off
Producing a play with a specific style is always an exciting and difficult challenge. Noises Off is
certainly no exception. The timing is difficult enough, but then adding the farce style with the idea of performing
a play withing a play on a revolving set and you have what is one of the most, if not the most complicated theatrical
comedy of the 20th century. This is a challenge the cast and crew has not taken lightly. They have dedicated and
invested themselves to reaching the play's fullest potential. I am very proud of each and every one of the students
involved in this production. They have sacrificed an untold number of hours to create this evening's production. We
hope you enjoy the fruits of their labor. Finally, I would like to say a very special "thank you" to Cameron Turner.
Cameron stepped into the cast just two short weeks ago and has not missed a beat. The cast and crew express their
gratitude to Cameron for stepping up when the was needed. Enjoy the show!
