Director's Notes for
Copacabana

Anyone who hasn't worked in the theatre will never understand the unimaginable amount of time, energy and effort that goes into producting a musical. The students have spent hundreds of hours in rehearsals and costurme fittings, building the set and designing programs, posters, lights and sound. On top of all that, they spend timeon their own studying their art, rehearsing lines and practicing dance steps. They continue to amaze me, and I couldn't be more proud. I believe from the bottom of my heart that every one of these young performers has a very bright future, whether or not it's in performing arts. The commitment to a project and the team effort Mr. Olsen, Mrs. Miller and I have choose to go. Despite the long hours this is by far one of the most rewarding endeavors we undertake each year. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children. The hours have been long, but the reward is great.
