Thomas Michael Campbell

     A 1999 graduate of Pomona High School, Thomas received his M.F.A. in Playwriting from Southern Illinois University Cabrondale. He has his first play ( Bearer of Bad News) producted by the Catwalk Theatre Company in 1999. Thomas appeared in the original cast of Rainy Day People which won the KCACTF Mark Twain comedy Playwriting Award in 2002. His ten-minuted play, Blind Date Gone Good , won the Region VII 10-Minute Play Competition in 2003. Also in 2003, he won the ASOPA Award for Best Original One-Act Play for American Shih-Tzu and Risatal (2007- Honorable Mention). dREAMIRIPPIN' also received an Archie Award for Best Original One-Act Play and was recetnly producted at the HB Studio in New York City. Other writing credits include The Four Hosemena (2000); Moon Garden (2003); Paralysis (2005); and The Highwayman (2006).
